What is the advantage of coconut coir pellets compared to normal soil?
Coconut coir pellets are perfect for growing fresh herbs, vegetables and ornamental plants of all kinds (except acidophilic plants) – whether at home on the windowsill, on the balcony or in the garden.
Our coco pellets support and strengthen the young seedlings on their first journey of life from the protective seed to the surface of the soil. They consist of 100% natural coconut fibre, coconut pulp and inorganic fertilizer and thus form the perfect starter package for the first weeks of life of the young plantlets. The pellets provide the seedlings with important nutrients during the first weeks of their growth and ensure that the sowing of your plants is crowned with success.
The fleece surrounding the coco soil is rooted by the seedling and is naturally degradable within two weeks. Thus, in contrast to growing on classic soil, no pricking is necessary and the seedling can be transplanted completely while protecting the delicate roots.
We attach great importance to a controlled, environmentally friendly production and therefore use exclusively peat-free soil.
How does the cultivation with coco-spring tablets work?
Growing with our coconut source tablets is very simple. Place the tablets in a small bowl, with the notch in the center facing up, and pour a little water on top. A quarter to a half cup of water per tablet is sufficient.
After two to three minutes, the tablets will have swelled to full size and be ready for sowing. The indentation should still be slightly visible, there you can sow your seeds depending on the sowing instructions.
If you spread some water on the swelling tablets every day with a spray bottle, you can keep them permanently moist. This is ideal for the germination of your plantlets!
After a few weeks, the thin fleece will be rooted by your plants. It is 100% biodegradable, so you can plant out the seedling along with its tablet. This saves you the pricking and already the tender roots of the young plants.

Beste Bedingungen: Kokos-Quelltabletten und Anzuchterde
Die richtige Anzuchterde unterstützt eine erfolgreiche Anzucht zahlreicher Pflanzensorten.
So wie unsere Kokos-Quelltabletten ist auch unsere Kokos Anzuchterde torffreie und damit optimal für das Keimen aller möglichen Pflanzensamen geeignet. Das Kultursubstrat aus Kokosmark und Kokosfasern enthält anorganischen Dünger und versorgt die Keimlinge während der ersten Wochen ihres Wachstums mit allen wichtigen Nährstoffen. Nachdem du die Quelltabletten gewässert hast, quellen diese auf und du kannst sie in Anzuchttöpfen und Schalen verteilen. Die Samen je nach Sorte und Anzuchtanleitung aussäen und feucht halten! Durch das abbaubare Vlies, welches das Kokossubstrat und die Anzuchterde umgibt können die zarten Wurzeln hindurch wachsen. Du kannst die Jungpflanzen später mit der kompletten Quelltablette auspflanzen. So ist kein Pikieren notwendig.
