These started fruiting in early September and should continue until mid to late October when all the canes will be cut back to ground level as fruit form on the current year’s growth.

The early summer fruiting raspberries have now stopped producing so last year’s canes and the weaker ones from this year are cut back to ground level. Three or four canes from each station are left and these are the base for next year’s crop. 

Started picking raspberries early July. This is the early cropping variety fruiting on last year’s canes. For some reason both quantity and quality are not that good this year so I suspect the later cropping ones will be better this year as it seems to often happen that way.
